Starry night

Frozen in time and space, self preservation was a near miss.
Seeing my stars align and realizing why, they're so pretty tonight.
Sifting through cerebral photographs, memories that always make me laugh-
Perfectly impolite.

As i glance up through the window pane, to see the moon and stars again,
almost instantly it takes me back.
Night after night of metior showers, midnight walks beside the moonlite flowers...
it just feels right.

It's just me lonely, out here again, trying to find reasons to smile if i can-
lately that has been a fight i can't win...
But the stars make me feel at home. They're always there-
like a place i can call my own...

Somewhere in the unknown, I know I'm not alone... just can't see who's with me.
